F&B is involved in all things concrete and earthwork-related, including building foundations, concrete slab on grade, concrete elevated slabs, shored concrete slabs, industrial press pit foundations, concrete pavement projects, site development, to earthwork and pipework. 
The Position
To support the overall growth of the Company, F&B is hiring a Construction Estimator in its Charlotte office. The goal of this position is to perform everything related to take-offs, plan document review, job tracking, successfully bidding, and closing out profitable construction projects.
The Estimator will be directly involved in the heavy civil construction industry, having the ability to work on cool and unique projects. With Fessler and Bowman's continuous growth, this person will have the opportunity to grow with the company and take on additional responsibilities along with more complex projects.  

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 5 years of construction estimating experience is preferred; F&B is open to considering candidates with less (and more, of course!)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is preferred
  • Proficient in using Bid2Win estimating software
