The Position
Primarily focused on bridge and heavy civil earthwork packages, the Earthwork Superintendent leads Project Teams in the successful completion of Company projects. The Earthwork Superintendent is responsible for field-based scheduling, resource allocation, progress reporting and forecasting while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards and applicable laws and regulations. This person is also responsible for managing crews in the field.
Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities
  • 4-5 years of trades foreman or field engineer experience on earthwork, bridge and/or DOT heavy/highway construction projects
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is preferred, but not required
  • Direct experience in managing site work, earthwork, sewer and water construction
  • Willingness to put in the time and effort required to be successful in construction

The position is full-time and the starting salary is competitive, depending on skills and experience.
