EctoHR, Inc. is an expanding Human Resources firm providing a full range of HR consulting and outsourcing services to over 65 client organizations in and around Michigan. Due to rapid growth, we are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join the team and help support the operations of our Brighton office.
 
The Position
The goal of this position is to support our team of HR Professionals by handling an assortment of administrative, clerical and organizational duties. Truly a Jack/Jane-of-all-trades role, responsibilities will include, but not limited to, scheduling appointments and meetings, updating the applicant tracking software, composing and proofreading offer letters and other recruitment material, executive support and anything else our busy office needs on a day-to-day basis. The Administrative Assistant must be able to work in an environment that is constantly changing and should be able to handle a high level of responsibility. EctoHR has a fast-paced environment and no two days are alike!
 
Under the direction of the Leadership Team, the Administrative Assistant will have ample opportunity to make an immediate impact on the business and will play a key role in its future success. There is also true potential for this person to develop and grow into a client-facing position, working on HR and recruiting projects both individually and on a team.  
 
Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or other field (does not need to be an HR degree!)
  2. At least one year of work experience (may be made up of internships or non-professional positions)
  3. A strong work ethic and drive to succeed
  4. Inclination to be a divergent thinker and problem solver
  5. Excellent time management skills
  6. The ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy 
Compensation, Benefits and Structure
This is a full-time, permanent position with working hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Starting pay rate will depend on skills and experience. The Recruitment Process
The hiring process will include an initial phone screens, two in-person interviews, candidate assessments, and a background check and drug test.
