The Position
The Company is adding a CDL A Truck Driver to its team. This person will operate tractor-trailers over long distances between construction sites and supplier facilities to transport construction-related items in a safe and timely manner. Driving is mostly within Michigan but occasionally to surrounding states and overnight travel 10% of the time. Drivers are responsible for the general safety and efficiency of trucking, including, but not limited to: inspecting trucks for safe operating condition; maintaining log books; following state and federal regulations; keeping semi-trucks clean; and assisting in loading and unloading trucks, including manually when needed.
Targeted Experience, Skills, and Abilities
  • High School Diploma or higher.
  • Class A CDL (with no major violations within the last 5 years)
  • Ability to pass a DOT exam
  • Positive attitude
  • Flexible schedule
The position is full-time, permanent and a direct hire. There are times when a Truck Driver may need to extend the day or adjust his schedule to accommodate a project change.
