Located in Hartland, Michigan, Jellison CPA is a growing full-service accounting firm with well-established clientele across Livingston County (and not just during tax season!). The Position
Based on the candidate’s preference, the position could be either full-time or part-time, making it perfect for someone that enjoys spending time with family or pursuing hobbies. The Staff Accountant job duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Using QuickBooks to enter payables and receivables, reconcile accounts, and other accounting functions.
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll and accounting transactions are processed accurately and timely.
  • Assist in various financial projects utilizing a broad range of bookkeeping skills.
  • Supporting CPA‘s tasks and proactively communicating progress on projects.
 Experience, Skills, and Abilities
  • Payroll experience strongly preferred
  • Fully-versed in QuickBooks software
  • Excellent bookkeeping skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, computer systems, and math skills
  • Must have ability to be proactive with good follow through
  • 1040 preparation is a plus
  • Experience in a CPA firm is strongly preferred.
