The Position
Midwest Steel is hiring an Executive Assistant to directly support the President of the Company. The Executive Assistant is responsible for all aspects of supporting the ever-changing, non-stop demands of running a successful construction business. Duties include managing calendars, arranging travel on short-notice, event planning, drafting and reviewing correspondence, suite and entertainment management, and the occasional personal request as needed.
Candidates must have the ability to exercise discretion and judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills. The Administrative Assistant works independently on projects, from conception to completion, and often needs to work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. Professionalism is the primary attribute to describe the candidate that will best fit this role.
