The Payroll & Accounting Administrator Position:
The Payroll & Accounting Administrator will work in our Detroit based facility and play a pivotal role in payroll and finance processes. The position will require a reliable, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable in a support role and has a “self-starter” attitude.
Job duties include but are not limited to: processing weekly payroll, accounts payable, credit card reconciliation, purchasing materials and equipment, and whatever else is needed to keep the office running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be well versed in MS Office and work well as part of a team.
Required Experience, Skills and Abilities for the Payroll & Accounting Administrator:
Compensation, Benefits and Structure for the Payroll & Accounting Adminsitrator:
- Minimum of two years in an accounting or payroll role
- Construction experience is strongly preferred, but not required
- Solid working experience with Sage 100 is preferred
- MS Office skills, including Excel and Word
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy
