Businesses and individuals have trusted and relied upon this firm for a variety of services including bookkeeping, payroll, tax projections and preparation, and other accounting services for over 15 years. The Administrative Assistant Position
The Administrative Assistant position is ideal for someone looking for a professional work environment with the flexibility to enjoy life outside of the office. This is a seasonal position, working approximately 20 hours per week between January and June. The preferred goal is to find a candidate who is interested in joining us each year for tax season.

The Administrative Assistant job duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Assisting in E-file returns
  • General tax return assembly
  • Scanning & filing
  • General Administrative duties as assigned, including assisting with answering phones and greeting clients from time-to-time
  • Support CPA tasks and proactively communicate progress on projects
Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Administrative Assistant Position
  • Experience working in a professional setting
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, computer systems, and math skills
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Must have ability to be proactive with good follow through
  • Must be self-directed, detail oriented, and organized
Compensation, Benefits, and Structure of the Administrative Assistant Position
  • Compensation for this position is variable and will be dependent on candidate qualifications.
  • Jellison CPA offers a seasonal work schedule with approximately 20 hours per week during the tax season for this role.
    • Ideally, this person would work Monday through Friday and hours can be flexible.
    • This position requires in-person attendance in the Hartland, MI office. Remote work options are not available for this position.
