Who We Are Great Lakes Bay Health Centers (GLBHC) is a community health center umbrella made up of 32 locations throughout the Great Lakes Bay region and beyond. Most locations are set up to serve medically underserved populations, but our doors are open to anyone regardless of insurance or lack of insurance. The Recruiter Position The Human Resources Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. Expectations of the Recruiter include, but are not limited to:
Identify and select qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase and connect viable candidates with the hiring managers.
Assists with scheduling interviews; assist with the preparation of interview questions if needed.
Checks references and credentials of potential hires, verifying experience and backgrounds.
Counsels candidates on the interview and hiring process.
Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.
Follows up with hiring managers after the interview process.
Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or human resource staff, identifying and recommending start dates and other pertinent details.
Assist with the onboarding process as assigned for all new hires upon employment.
Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Recruiter Position
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Human Resources or relevant experience is required.
Certified as a SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
Previous experience in a recruiter role preferred.
Compensation, Benefits & Structure of the Recruiter Position This position includes a competitive salary structure based on skills and experience and a comprehensive benefit and retirement package.
