Located in Farmington Hills, Michigan, Hake Industries continues to expand its product offerings and its customer base. The Company’s growing team is seeking a technical jack-of-many trades to play a critical internal and external support role as a Systems Administrator.
The Systems Administrator Position: Under the supervision of the Senior Systems Administrator, this role will perform a variety of information systems administration functions including installing, configuring, and supporting complex operating and server based systems, monitoring and maintaining internal technology systems including servers, networking, applications, and databases, assisting in the development of images, deployment of applications and services and technology device management. This role is also responsible for advanced technical problem solving, monitoring services and applications to ensure availability to system users and assisting with the implementation of new and upgraded technologies.
This position is hybrid-remote, with a minimum of two days per week required on location in Farmington Hills, MI.
Preferred Experience, Skills & Abilities of the Systems Administrator:
Must have 1-3 years of experience supporting Windows Servers, Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services and storage management
Knowledge and experience supporting virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
Experience providing both on-site and remote technical support functions
Ability to work independently and as a team
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset
Compensation, Benefits, and Structure of the Systems Administrator: The position is permanent, full-time and exempt with a competitive salary based on skills and experience. The business hours for this role are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. The Company also provides a generous benefits package including health insurance, paid time off and 401k.
