Part-Time Community Coordinator

The Position Part-Time Community Coordinator
The Community Coordinator is a permanent, part-time position located at the beautiful Brighton Light House. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys facility and event management and interacting with people all day long. Since this position has the responsibility of opening the building each day and generally “owning” the coordination of the Brighton Light House facility, a considerable amount of trust and discretion is required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, resetting and cleaning up event spaces after events, greeting visitors and guests, providing tours of the building and event space, managing the coordination of the building including interfacing with maintenance workers and contractors, coordinating deliveries and anything else that comes up during a not-so-typical day.

This unique position allows autonomy, diversity of responsibilities, creative thinking, and opportunities to be involved in exciting events as they are developed from inception. 

Targeted Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Part-Time Community Coordinator
  • 1-3 years of Facility or Community Coordinating experience preferred, but not required
    • Someone that has managed a busy household would be plenty qualified!   
  • Ability to anticipate needs and take on tasks proactively
  • High attention to detail and capacity to multitask
  • Willingness to jump in, when needed, regardless of whether it’s in the job description!

Compensation, Benefits, and Structure for the Part-Time Community Coordinator
The position is part-time and permanent, with an anticipated schedule of 20 hours per week.  Heartmonic provides a competitive hourly rate, based on skills and experience, and a paid time-off plan. The schedule for this position is targeted to be Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 12pm-ish, with slight modifications depending on the events scheduled each day. If you are a candidate for this role and could do four mornings each week, we will consider that schedule adjustment as well.
