Customer Service Representative

Our client is a northern Michigan based MSO that offers high-speed internet, VoIP and cable television services. The Company is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join its growing team!

About the Position
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing information and educating customers on various Company services, both in-person, over the phone and through email communication. Every customer interaction provides the opportunity to project a favorable image of the Company to customers.  

Strong candidates will have previous customer service experience, particularly within a similar industry, and exhibit a customer-focused, service-oriented and positive attitude. The ability to work effectively on a team and individually is crucial. This position is required to be onsite at the Company’s Onaway, MI office.

Targeted Experience, Skills, and Abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus some additional technical training or certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role
·        Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
·        Ability to effectively multi-task and shift priorities quickly
·        Strong computer skills required

Compensation, Benefits and Structure
The position is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive base salary. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, with an alternating on-call schedule on weekends. Benefits Package includes Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability insurance.
