The Controller Position:
The Company is hiring a senior-level Controller. The position is a hybrid between hands-on Controller work and CFO type duties and involves managing individuals throughout the company. The Controller interfaces directly with ownership and operations and has the luxury of coming into an operation that is not in disarray or struggling to meet its financial obligations.


Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual report packages; managing cash flow and investments; collaborating with the auditing and banking partners; maintaining the accounting systems; overseeing all payroll, sales/use, and corporate returns in a multi-state environment.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Controller:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Previous construction experience is preferred.
  • CPA designation is preferred.
  • Have a unique ability to dive into details and work “hands-on” while also having excellent interpersonal communication skills.
 
Compensation, Benefits, and Structure for the Controller:
The Controller position is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive annual salary based on skills, abilities, and length of service. The Company’s bonus plan is based on Company profitability and individual performance and has been paid out consistently. In addition, the Company offers medical insurance, a 401(k) with a Company match and paid time off.
