The Office Manager Position The Office Manager is responsible for the company’s overall administrative and clerical activities, including greeting clients in-person, answering phones, and building rapport with clients by engaging with them in an inviting, friendly matter. The Office Manager needs a natural curiousity and a “figure it out” attitude, that includes providing recommendations to management to increase efficiencies throughout the company.
The Office Manager ensures that clients needs are met appropriately, including regular follow-up and distributing documents as needed. The position will ensure staff is adequately prepared for meetings by managing calendar invitations, preparing meeting documents and assisting the team in driving a project schedule to completion. Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Office Manager Position
At least two (2) years of experience working in a professional setting is required
Prior experience working in a CPA firm is preferred, but not required
Intermediate computer skills, including composing emails, letters, etc.
Must have the ability to be proactive with good follow-through
Must be self-directed, detail-oriented, and organized
