The Account Manager Position The Account Manager is responsible to help identify and sell new and existing referral sources to develop new business and grow existing business in a territory. This position will be responsible for:
Calling on potential target clients as well as current leads and prospects
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Documentation of activities and utilization of company resources to achieve company revenue and gross profit goals.
Understanding the dynamics of our supply chain and develop skills to handle both ongoing/standard and immediate/urgent packaging needs
Ability to travel as required
Desired Experience, Skill, and Abilities of the Account Manager
Bachelor's in business of equivalent experience
2 years of B2B sales or inside sales experience
Distribution sales experience preferred
Prior experience using VAI or another ERP system preferred
Must be proficient in MS Office including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Strong communication skills
