The Payroll/Accounts Receivables Administrator Position: The Payroll & Accounts Receivables Administrator will have a home-base in the Grand Blanc, MI office and play a pivotal role in union payroll and finance processes. The position will require a reliable, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable in a support role and has a “self-starter” attitude.
Job duties include but are not limited to: processing weekly union payroll, maintain payroll files, weekly 941 deposits and preparing certified reports, monthly deposits, verification requests, daily cash receipts, A/R past due customer calls, and building jobs in Sage to assist Estimators. The position will also assist the Accounting Manager with year-end preparations, monthly union reporting, and obtaining wage information for jobs performed outside of jurisdiction to calculate differential pay.
Preferred Experience, Skills and Abilities for the Payroll/Accounts Receivables Administrator Position:
Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college five or more years of related experience
Construction experience is strongly preferred, but not required
Solid working experience with Sage 300 is preferred
MS Office skills, including Excel and Word
Ability to work independently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy
