The Payroll/Accounts Receivables Administrator Position:
The Payroll & Accounts Receivables Administrator will have a home-base in the Grand Blanc, MI office and play a pivotal role in union payroll and finance processes. The position will require a reliable, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable in a support role and has a “self-starter” attitude.
Job duties include but are not limited to: processing weekly union payroll, maintain payroll files, weekly 941 deposits and preparing certified reports, monthly deposits, verification requests, daily cash receipts, A/R past due customer calls, and building jobs in Sage to assist Estimators. The position will also assist the Accounting Manager with year-end preparations, monthly union reporting, and obtaining wage information for jobs performed outside of jurisdiction to calculate differential pay.

Preferred Experience, Skills and Abilities for the Payroll/Accounts Receivables Administrator Position:
  • Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college five or more years of related experience
  • Construction experience is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Solid working experience with Sage 300 is preferred
  • MS Office skills, including Excel and Word
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy
