The Company is located in the ​Ypsilanti/Ann​ ​Arbor area and provides IV medications and clinical management to treat chronic and acute medical conditions throughout Southeastern Michigan.

The Intake Coordinator Position:
The Intake Coordinator will report to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for processing information about new patients. This role will interact with staff, management, patients, and referral sources.

Job duties include but are not limited to: Organize and plan the activities necessary to admit new patients, maintain records, write reports, evaluate options, and make efficient decisions, complete the pre-admission assessment on all referrals, assist billing department with verification of insurance coverage for new customers and reverification of coverage for current customers.  This position will communicate with the billing department to ensure proper billing to insurance company’s contracts and other third-party payers and patients for all products and services.


Preferred Experience, Skills and Abilities for the Intake Coordinator Position:
  • Minimum of a high school degree required
  • Training/experience in pharmacy, nursing, or reimbursement preferred
  • MS Office proficiency, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy
