The Accounts Payable Clerk Position
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for reconciling invoices with receiving documents, invoice entries into the accounting system, and communicating with project teams to confirm accurate information. This role assists with other functions, such as the process of posting daily cash receipts, assisting with customer billing, managing account reconciliations, and assisting in general administrative duties in the office, among other things.
In addition to working with payables, the A/P Clerk will also be crossed trained to assist in other functions of the accounting department.
Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Accounts Payable Clerk
Associate’s Degree is preferred, but not required
2+ years in an Accounts Payable or a similar office role
Experience in construction is preferred, but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Ability to work under pressure without sacrificing accuracy or integrity of data

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with a competitive compensation package based on skills and experience.
