Construction Project Engineer

The Project Engineer Position
The Company is adding a Project Engineer to its team based on consistent backlog and growth. The Project Engineer is
responsible for a wide range of duties including monitoring project schedules, ordering and securing materials and deliveries, tracking quantities, preparing and sending internal and external submittals, preparing and follow-up on client RFI’s, and helping the Project Managers and Superintendents in all areas where support is needed. The Project Engineer will also be involved in processing shop drawings, assembling Bid Documents, assisting with preparation of “Hard Bids” and proposal writing.

The Project Engineer specializes in Siwek’s retail-focused projects, which requires travel throughout the Midwest (Michigan, Indiana, Ohio)
 
Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities of the Project Engineer
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, or similar degree is required
  • Knowledge of, exposure to, and/or an interest in construction-related support role is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project locations throughout the Midwest is required
  • Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel and Microsoft Project
Compensation, Benefits, and Structure of the Project Engineer
The position is full-time and permanent, with a competitive salary structure based on skills and experience. In addition, the Company offers a discretionary bonus plan, Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, a 401K employer match, and a collaborative team-based work environment.
