The Sales/Business Development Manager Position The Sales/Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for driving the sales of the Lucia Landscaping services. This includes playing a key role in managing and leading a sales team while effectively mentoring and coaching to achieve desired results. This position reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and is committed to overall client satisfaction and retention while making sure the company clientele continues to expand year after year.
The Sales/Business Development Manager is responsible for building existing and new customer relationships, marketing, and networking in the industry across all services of the company. This position will need to align the goals, values, and vision for the company to communicate the company culture and business model for new clients.
Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Sales/Business Development Manager Position
A minimum of 5 years in previous sales experience is required
A minimum of 3 years of knowledge in the Lawn & Landscape industry is preferred
Goal orientated, self-motivated, and result driven personality
Must have presentation skills and the ability to present information either 1:1 or to a group
Extensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience
Ability to engage a team to produce high quality results
Must be adaptable to change and enjoy work that frequently shifts direction
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
General computer literacy and expert fluency in Microsoft Office suite
