The Project ManagerPosition
The Project Manager position will be based on a project located just outside of Memphis, TN and will work closely with the Division Managers, third-party designers, the customer, and the other project stakeholders. This position is responsible for a wide range of duties including ordering and securing materials and deliveries, tracking quantities, quality control, preparing and sending submittals, and handling critical communications. The Project Manager needs to understand engineering principles, be capable of problem solving efficiently, provide consistent communication, and have the drive to work hard to keep the project on track.
Please note that this position requires someone who can be onsite every day. This specific position does not support a remote work or work-from-home arrangement. The ideal candidate is someone that enjoys being in a construction environment and is willing to travel as they develop their career.
Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Project Manager
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
Work experience in the engineering and/or construction industry, preferably in the structural steel industry
2-5 years of construction experience is required
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of Procore and other construction and/or engineering software programs is a bonus
