The Document Control Engineer Position The Document Control Engineer manages and administers the master electronic document control system and bidding software for the Company and its construction projects. The Document Control Engineer organizes, processes, and assists project teams and subcontractors with necessary contract bidding documents via electronic bidding format and/or hard copy drawings to ensure complete bid categories. The Document Control Engineer also aids in a wide variety of areas including, but not limited to, project management, bidding, safety, scheduling, archiving, technology, permitting, site logistics, and marketing.
Responsibilities for the Document Control Engineerinclude, but are not limited to:
Upload documents to Procore and bid invitation/notification software
Manage electronic document management and bidding software, including implementation of software updates
Manage the Bid Schedule to ensure no conflicts with other projects
Manage contract document storage during bidding/pre-construction phase
Assist with data input in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software
Keep Procore updated with all safety material, SDS, MI-OSHA, etc.
Maintain accurate and timely updates within the Master Project Schedule
Provide Procore and other management software orientation/training to new hires and interns
Assist technology committee with computer management and distribution

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Document Control Engineer
Experience working in the construction industry is required
Previous working experience with Procore and/or Primavera P6 is preferred.
Experience working with other construction software systems will be considered
Bachelor’s degree in construction related field preferred
