The General Ledger Accountant Position The Company is adding a General Ledger Accountant to its dynamic, forward-thinking team. The General Ledger Accountant is a critical position that plays a key role in manufacturing and technology solutions, which directly impacts the success of the accounting team, and drives overall Company profitability.
The position holds responsibility for a wide range of duties and functions of the Company including, but not limited to, preparing financial reports, preparing and overseeing annual audits, monthly closing reports, and capital asset accounting, working closely with the CFO and entire accounting team, learning all functions of the accounting process, and all other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities of the General Ledger Accountant
2-5 years of progressive financial experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience
CPA designation preferred, not required
Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and accrual accounting
Experience in review of corporate, payroll, and property tax filings
SAP experience preferred, not required
Excellent communication and organizational skills and attention to detail
