The Assistant Project Manager Position: The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term projects which have a beginning and end with specified deliverables. Working closely with Project Managers, clients and technicians, this position will handle a variety of project support tasks.
The Assistant Project Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ordering lifts and products needed for project and service tickets, contracting qualified technicians to work on projects, monitoring the progress of projects, establishing a communication schedule to update PMs, reviewing work completed by the project team, customer invoicing and data entry.
Preferred Experience, Skills & Abilities of the Assistant Project Manager:
Must have 1-3 years of experience in support services or secretarial assignments involving external clients, handling multiple tasks
Strong interpersonal skills and dedication to excellent customer service
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
Ability to work independently and as a team
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset
Compensation, Benefits, and Structure of the Assistant Project Manager The position is permanent, full-time and exempt with a competitive salary based on skills and experience. The business hours for this role are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm with potential weekend hours. After the first few weeks of training at the Farmington Hills, MI location, there is the possibility for the right candidate to work a hybrid office/virtual schedule.
