EctoHR, Inc. is a dynamic Human Resources firm, providing a full range of HR consulting & outsourcing services to various organizations in and around Michigan. Due to the rapid growth of the organization, we are looking to add an HR Coordinator to join our internal team in Brighton, MI.
 
The HR Coordinator Position
The HR Coordinator supports EctoHR’s clients through a variety of administrative, clerical, and organizational duties. Truly a Jack/Jane-of-all-trades role, this may include, but is not limited to, processing background checks and multiple payrolls, completing onboarding & offboarding paperwork, benefit administration, benefit invoice audits and prepping and sending offer letters to potential new hires.


Additionally, the HR Coordinator may be required to assist our internal team of HR Professionals by scheduling appointments and meetings, composing and proofreading offer letters and other material, executive support, and anything else our busy office needs from day-to-day!

The HR Coordinator must be able to work in an environment that is constantly changing and should be able to handle a high level of accountability and responsibility. The pace is always fast, and no two days are ever alike! Under the direction of the Leadership Team, the HR Coordinator has ample opportunity to make an immediate impact on the business and will play a key role in future success. There is a true potential for this person to develop into a client-facing position, working on complex HR and Recruiting projects both individually and with a team.  
 
Experience, Skills and Abilities for the HR Coordinator Position
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or other field (Does not need to be an HR degree!)
  • At least one year of real-world work experience (may be made up of internships or non-professional positions)
  • A strong work ethic and drive to succeed
  • Inclination to be a divergent thinker and problem solver
  • Excellent time management skills
  • The ability to multi-task while maintaining a strong degree of accuracy
 
Compensation, Benefits and Structure for the HR Coordinator Position
Rewards for this position including a competitive salary, health insurance, retirement plan with company match, paid time off, and the chance to work in a dynamic, team-based environment. Compensation will include a combination of base pay and a two-tiered bonus structure, based on both team and individual performance. The position provides an opportunity to develop professionally, ultimately leading communication and projects with multiple high-profile clients.


Following the introductory period, this position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule of 1-2 days per week at home, with the remaining days in the Brighton, MI office location.

The recruitment process includes a mixture of phone and in-person interviews, candidate assessments, and a pre-employment background check and drug test. The process is designed to make sure that candidates are aligned with the Company’s long-term goals and have shared core values.
