John P. O’Sullivan Distributing Inc. was founded in 1976 and is a family owned and operated beverage distribution business. Fast-forward nearly 50 years and we are still known as one of the largest distributors (of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages) in the state with an 11-county footprint in mid-Michigan.
The Night Warehouse Manager Position:
The Warehouse Manager will be based out of the Flint, MI office. This role is pivotal to our warehouse operations and will require a reliable, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable in a support role and has a “self-starter” attitude. This position will include:
Oversight of product storage and rotation within the warehouse
Management of warehouse staff
Lead and assist in maintaining a safe, efficient, and clean warehouse
Securing warehouse at the end of the loading process
Oversight of the accurate load completion and verification of all trucks and the readiness of all trucks from a loading standpoint to make a timely departure
Communication/troubleshooting with Delivery Drivers on the operating condition of tractors, trailers, and handheld electronic devices used by the Drivers to enter and receive orders
Oversight of inventory storage and quality controls for all products
Daily checks of forklifts to ensure they are in proper working order
Secure the warehouse at the end of each shift and prevention of loss of product
Maintain communication within the organization and with retailers, suppliers, and transport companies
All other duties as assigned
The expected schedule for the Warehouse Manager will be Monday-Thursday in approximately ten-hour shifts.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities of the Night Warehouse Manager:
2+ years of experience in Warehouse Management required
Experience with tractor/trailers/forklifts required
CDL License is a preferred, but not required
Voice Pick experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of accuracy
