Two family owned companies in Brighton are hiring a new Receptionist & Administrative Assistant to help support the operations in their shared Brighton office. With most of the work primarily focusing on supporting a professional law firm specializing in estate planning and business law, the secondary duties of the role will consist of assisting an expanding Human Resources firm that provides a full range of HR consulting and outsourcing services.
The Position
The Receptionist & Administrative Assistant must be able to work in an environment that is constantly changing and will be able to handle a high level of responsibility. The position will support both a team of HR Professionals and Attorneys by handling an assortment of administrative, clerical and organizational duties. This true Jack/Jane-of-all-trades role, will be responsible for scheduling appointments and meetings, booking conference rooms, running payroll for the Law Firm, executive support, running daily Company errands and much more.
Under the direction of the Leadership Team, there is ample opportunity to have an immediate impact on the success of both companies.
To be successful in this role, the Receptionist & Administrative Assistant must be professional, mature, reliable, customer service-oriented, consistent and have a positive attitude.
Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities
  • Associate Degree Preferred, but not required
  • At least one year of work experience (may be made up of internships or non-professional positions)
  • A strong work ethic and drive to succeed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks
Compensation, Benefits and Structure
This is a full-time, permanent position with working hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Starting pay rate will depend on skills and experience. The Recruitment Process
