The Project Manager works directly with the GC/CM and project owner to ensure projects meet expectations and run smoothly from start to finish. This position specifically requires someone to act as the onsite PM and represent the Company in a positive and professional manner, ensure the Company's best interest on the project, and coordinate and work in coordination with F&B's Site Superintendent. The PM has a variety of responsibilities that include, but are not limited to: document control, project scheduling, change order management, quantity tracking, material scheduling, budgeting and cost control, and final close-out of the job.
Our newest Project Manager’s first assigned job will be involved with one of Fessler and Bowman’s largest concrete projects for 2018, a data center project in VA. This project is expected to last about one year and upon project completion, the PM will have the opportunity to grow with the company and take on additional responsibilities and projects. Depending on the candidate's preference and availability, he or she could then be headquartered out of Michigan or North Carolina or could be a travelling PM, working primarily on out-of-town projects.

The Company does provide Per Diem for employees working out of town. The Per Diem is based on a healthy daily rate for the entire time the employee is assigned to the project.
The Recruiting Process
The Recruiting process is designed to ensure the right fit for both the Company and the candidate. The process will include a combination of phone interviews and in-person interviews, candidate assessments, a pre-employment background check and drug test.
The goal is to have someone hired and onboard in August 2018.
