EctoHR, Inc. is a human resource consulting and outsourcing firm, specializing in supporting the HR strategy and efforts for small-to-medium sized businesses. Services include, but are not limited to, recruiting process outsourcing, compliance and HR audits, professional development and performance management, policy development, and risk management related to HR. The Company is hiring a Recruiter to join the internal team in Brighton, MI.
The Position:
The Recruiter has varied responsibilities, creating an opportunity to focus on both client acquisition for EctoHR and talent acquisition for EctoHR’s clients. For talent acquisition (90% of the position), the focus is on managing the recruiting process from cradle to grave for multiple clients. From making cold calls and sourcing candidates, to following up with those who have expressed an interest, this individual must be goal-oriented and comfortable interacting with all types of people. For client acquisition (10% of the position), the focus is on business development, through marketing, networking and implementing growth strategies for the Company. This will entail strengthening ties with existing customers as well as developing new relationships.
Business acumen, critical thinking and problem solving ability are crucial for this position. Over time, the position has the opportunity to have a significant impact on both the success of EctoHR and the success of its clients. This position likely works well for someone that is interested in general business, sales-related activity, management, and people. Recruiting at EctoHR involves unique challenges that requires the ability to do research, source candidates, make calls, quickly qualify candidates, make informed but timely decisions, and assess the potential fit between a candidate and our client. Personal accountability, self-discipline, and motivation towards achieving goals are additional qualities that create the foundation for success in this role. 

Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • Sales and service-focused, with a proven history of success
  • Driven by results and achieving goals
  • Excellent proactive communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and energy
  • Willing to put the necessary hours in to get the job done
Preferred Experience, Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience or interest in the construction industry
  • Technical sourcing and recruiting experience
  • People management experience
Compensation, Benefits, and Structure:
The position is full-time and provides a competitive salary, health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, opportunities for growth and development, and the chance to work in a dynamic, team-based environment. Compensation will include a combination of base pay and a two-tiered bonus structure, based on both team and individual performance. The Recruitment Process:
The hiring process will include at least one phone screen, two in person interviews, formal assessments, a background check, and drug test.
