The Position
The Company is hiring an experienced Superintendent to join its growing team! The Superintendent role offers field experience working on projects coming out of the ground all the way through the hand over to the project owner. The Superintendent works in a fast-paced environment and needs efficient problem-solving skills to maintain a high level of productivity on the project job sites.
 
Superintendents are responsible for scheduling and supervising the subcontractor base to ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, and meets quality requirements. Commitment to safety is critical and the Superintendent can expect to conduct consistent inspections while enforcing compliance. The Superintendent also assists in a variety of documentation procedures that include, but are not limited to, contributing to development of the schedule, preparing and analyzing applicable reports, verification of shop drawings and submittals, communication of scope updates, and additional reporting as needed.

 Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a Superintendent or equivalent role is preferred
    • Experience working for a construction manager or general contractor is preferred but experience with a trade contractor or project owner will be considered
  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred
    •  Equivalent combination of education/work experience will be considered
