Hardman’s Field/Project Engineers have the opportunity to work on heavy civil projects around the state of Michigan, working on the project team to support all aspects of construction. Field Engineers are responsible for a wide range of duties, from ordering and securing materials and deliveries to tracking quantities, preparing and sending submittals and other critical communication, and helping the Project Managers and Superintendents in all areas where support is needed.
Our newest Engineer will have the opportunity to work in the MDOT bridge construction and with the geotechnical division. The position requires spending approximately 80% of the time in the field on project sites, so a desire to travel around Michigan is key.
Training and working under experienced Project Managers, the Field Engineer will have a clear path to develop into a Project Manager and hopefully into a key leader within the Company.
