The Position
The Company is hiring an Application Engineer to its tight-knit team to step in and make an immediate impact with the Company. This position will also be responsible for working with the Sales team to provide product demonstrations as well as providing informal technical training to customers and employees on CNC product operations and programming capabilities.

This position will require a high percentage (60% or more) of travel, so candidates should be comfortable being on the road most of the time. Candidates for this position should also be open to spending time within the first year of employment at the Company’s headquarters in Germany for training.

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities
  • 5+ years of experience setting up four and five axis machining centers and CNC Programming with a 2-year Technical Mechatronics degree from an accredited College or University, or, 10+ years’ experience applying CNC products providing CAM, G-code, Auto Programming, PLC, Machine Tool Operation, Runoffs and Time Studies
  • Experience with multi-spindle horizontal machining centers, preferred
  • Experience with Siemens 840D Solution Line and Fanuc 32i Controls, preferred
  • Experience with a wide range of machine tools; lathe, mill, grinding, and 5X applications, preferred
  • Understanding of basic inspection and measuring equipment, including height gauge, optical comparator, profilometer, bore gauges, etc.
  • Troubleshooting of electro-mechanical machinery and processes
  • German speaking ability preferred but not required
