The Position
The Accounting Specialist will focus primarily in accounting, but also have various office management and HR administration duties. These duties include: project setup, invoicing and tracking job costs, oversight of accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit cards and fuel cards, assisting the off-site Controller with month-end close and year-end audit processes, preparing various vendor and government agency registrations, processing new hire documentation, maintaining employee record-keeping, benefits enrollment, and more.

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/business/management is desired
  • 3-5 years of related work experience in a Construction Accounting role
  • Working knowledge of Foundation Software or another accounting/payroll software
