Shop Administrator

The Position
The Shop Administrator will provide broad-based administrative support in the shop office, located in Troy, Michigan.  They will work closely with the Shop and Equipment Manager to ensure all aspects of equipment management run smoothly and they will maintain the Company’s equipment and work order database.

This is a unique administrative opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, is confident taking a lead role in office administration and enjoys working with others.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide general office and system support
  • Strong computer skills
  • Generate, issue, and track purchase orders
  • Create and track work/repair orders and preventative maintenance schedules
  • Get supplier pricing and order parts to maintain inventory and on-demand needs
  • Receive, check, and distribute parts, equipment and materials
  • Own the fleet and vehicle licensing and permit process
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s or Associates Degree
  • 2+ years of Administrative experience
  • Experience in Construction or similar industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt quickly as needs arise
