The Position
Midwest Steel is hiring a Construction Engineer that will work with senior members of the Rack Structures Group to support the engineering coordination and construction efforts of the group. Responsibilities will include reviewing and distributing project drawings, updating project documentation, communicating with third party engineers and fabricators, and working within various CAD and modeling software systems.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, with a concentration in structural engineering
  • 2 years of experience in the engineering or construction field
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, SDS/2, and other software systems
