The Position
The Company is hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join their team! This position will have the opportunity to work on projects around Michigan and in the Midwest. This opportunity is perfect for someone with experience in a variety of tools and equipment used in the repair of trucks and heavy construction equipment.  
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, removing and installing components on heavy machinery, diagnosing and troubleshooting potential problems, using basic hand tools and diagnostic software, completing paperwork for work orders, and testing and verifying correct operation of machinery all while maintaining safety and efficiency. 
Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities
  • High School Diploma required
  • Experience in the Heavy Civil Construction industry
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve potential mechanical issues on a daily basis
  • Skilled in the operation of a variety of tools and equipment used in the repair of trucks and heavy equipment
  • Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds, as well as occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with support
  • Desire to live in Michigan long-term, but also willingness to travel during the week to projects around the state and into the Midwest
